Iubirea nebună
Caută-mbrățișare...
Beneath Luna's nightly grace,
And beneath Sun's daily perching,
A deep love is always searching,
For a magical embrace ...
O LUNAtică iubire
S-a iscat prin ispitire;
Din raze de Lună, Soare,
S-au țesut iubiri florale ¡¡
A LUNAtic love was born,
Through temptation, spell adorned;
From Luna's rays and Sun’s fire,
Floral loves were woven, higher ¡¡
Din iubire viața toarce
Cele mai trainice fire...
Și nici timpu nu destramă
Țesătura de iubire ...
Life spins from love its magic thread,
The strongest strands, so tightly wed...
Not even time can tear apart,
The love fabric, heart to heart...

Te-am visat mereu, iubire !

Luminînd i u b i r i târzii

Flowers break through frost’s cold veil,
In Spring's rough, yet hopeful trail ...

S - admir Lunii strălucirea ;
Cred că Luna-n cer e-anume
Ca să-mi admire iubirea !

To gaze Luna's magic glee;
Luna too is there, high,
To gaze at my love from sky!

N-ai iubire să te-nvie;

Luminezi iubirea mea!

Yet, with your distant Sun's light,
You make my love glowing bright !
Luna surâde-n tăcere,
Luna-i izvor de mistere;
Iubirea-i izvor de șoapte,
Iubirea-i lumină-n noapte...

As a source of deep love guidance;
Love springs off with whispered grace,
Love is light in darkest place ...

Eu, un călător...
Însetat e călătoru,
Răcoritor e izvoru...
Love is a magical spring,
I'm a traveler wandering...
Thirsty is traveler’s soul,
Refreshing is spring's key goal...
Iubire în suflet, iubire în gând;

Iubire oriunde, iubire oricând,
Iubire mereu, iubire în toate...

Love day and night as a first thing;

Din Soare și din Noapte se întrupează Viața;
Iar tainica-i lumină, cu umbra și cu ceața,

From Sun and from the Night, Life takes amazing forms;

1 Luna; Luna
Luna, numele latin pentru lună. Aici Luna este numele propriu al unuia dintre personajele poveștii. La fel și Soarele, cu nume propriu, este un personaj al poveștii.
Luna, the latin name for the moon. Herein Luna is a proper name of one hero of the story. Likewise, Sun, proper name too, is also a hero of the story.
2 LUNAtica IUBIRE; LUNAtic LOVE

Personaje feminine din mitologia populară românească, întruchipare în special a bunătății și frumuseții. Figurativ: Tinere foarte frumoase.

4 Ursitoare; The Fates
În folclorul și mitologia românească, ursitoarele sunt trei ființe mitice care determină soarta unui nou-născut. Una ar putea dărui noroc și fericire. O alta ar putea determina durata vieții copilului. A treia ar putea încerca să echilibreze celelalte două predicții pentru a crea o viață mai armonioasă.
İn Romanian folklore and mythology, the Ursitoare are three mythical young girls who determine the fate of a newborn child. One might bestow good luck and happiness. Another might determine the length of the child's life. The third might balance the other two predictions to create a more harmonious life.
5 Sfintele din povești; Ladies of old stories
În folclorul românesc, Sfânta Miercuri, Sfânta Vineri și Sfânta Duminică sunt personificări ale zilelor săptămânii care au puteri magice.
İn Romanian folklore, Saint Wednesday, Saint Friday, and Saint Sunday are personifications of the days of the week who have magical powers.
6 Anotimpurile vieții; The life Seasons
Primăvara, Vara, Toamna, İarna (scrise cu majusculă) sunt considerate aici Anotimpurile vieții: İubirea, Rodirea, Desfrunzirea și, respectiv, Înzăpezirea.
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter (capitalized) are considered herein as life seasons of Love, Fructification, Defoliation and Snowbounding, respectively.

Termenul latin summa se referă la un tratat sau un rezumat cuprinzător al unui subiect, de exemplu Summa Theologica scrisă de filosoful scolastic Sfântul Toma de Aquino.
The Latin term summa refers to a comprehensive treatise or summary of a subject, e.g. Summa Theologica written by the scholastic philosopher St. Thomas Aquinas.

I was born in May, 1951, in Balta, a mountain village in Romania, a place of natural beauty. I attended high school in Turnu Severin (1966-1970), and then pursued higher education at the University of Bucharest (1970 - 1975), earning a master degree in Physical Chemistry and, later, a PhD degree in Chemistry.
Following an internship at a processing company, I embarked on a career in research and academia. I worked first as a biochemist at the Institute of Biology in Bucharest, and subsequently as a chemistry professor at the University of Bucharest (1980 -1995).
In 1995 - 2010 period, while continuing my work as a research professor, I pursued and obtained a second PhD degree, this time in Chemical Engineering, from Syracuse University. My passion for science led me to a senior research position at National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST), in Boulder, CO, (2010 - 2011).
Ultimately, I transitioned from the world of scientific research to fulfill a different dream: the pursuit of poetry. Here I am... with LUNAtic LOVE.
